Yassss!! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it’s shinning bright like a diamond! My second year begins at CSU begins. One more after this one until I can proudly walk across the stage and make my parents proud. God knows this has been a journey to get my stuff together. Good luck to all of my ambitious folks out here trying to make things happen. Make it a great year and stay focused 😘👋☀️📚📖🔬📒✏️✒️📝🎓
I have so much to say on this topic. I’ll start…
It is absolutely appalling and disturbing and upsetting that in 2014, my generation is still fighting the fight to equal rights for Black Americans. That we still have to protest and spread awareness on the fact that we are humans who deserve respect and dignity. In this day in age, you would think after everything that Black Americans have gone through in this country we would get some type of justice. I pray for the family of Mike Brown and all of the other victims of police brutality and hate crimes against blacks. Killing someone who is unarmed just because they are Black should be illegal. It’s a damn hate crime. And I don’t want to hear about Black on Black crime because that’s not the issue at hand. Where did the sudden urge to fight black on black crime come from anyway?? Did y’all just decide that y’all want to protect these crooked ass White cops and protect the racism that goes on in America by bringing up irrelevant ass topics. What’s wrong with you people? Blacks are a minority in this country. Yes I understand that Black on Black crime is a big problem in our society but let’s not lose focus on what’s the bigger issue. Our police who are supposed to serve and protect us are killing innocent, unarmed 18 year old boys, strangling black men who are just minding their own business and tear gassing small children during a peaceful protest. We need to fight the system that allows White men to walk freely for killing unarmed black teenagers. All I’m saying is to stay aware and take a look at the bigger picture first.
